Massachusetts Construction Worker’s Life Saved by Bubble Wrap Plastic.

A Boston, MA construction worker suffered only a broken arm after falling nearly 30 feet at a Boston construction site where he was working.

The construction worker, who has not yet been identified, fell through the wooden planks of the scaffolding when the job site injury occurred.

After falling through the scaffolding, the worker fell a distance of 30 feet. At that time, the worker hit the bubble wrap plastic covering that entire side of the building. The bubble wrap completely engulfed the construction worker before he hit the ground. Emergency responders had to cut away the plastic in order to free the worker and provide him with medical treatment.

Steve MacDonald, a spokesperson for the Boston Fire Department, stated that the worker would have sustained much more severe personal injuries if not for the plastic sheet covering the construction site.
