Worker Dies At Michigan Food Factory.

Police in Zeeland, Michigan report that a 49 year-old worker at the Hillshire Farms plant in the town has died after getting stuck on a conveyor belt this past Saturday, May 10, 2014.

According to Ottawa County officials, the 49 year-old was working the night shift at the Hillshire Farms plant on 96th Avenue on Saturday, May 10. The worker somehow became trapped on the conveyor belt.

Emergency responders tried to revive the injured man, but eventually pronounced him dead at the scene of the accident.

Ottawa County officials and workplace safety regulators are investigating the circumstances of the accident that led to the worker’s wrongful death.
