A construction site worker in Saratoga Springs, New York was injured recently while working in a parking garage. A piece of concrete slab swung out and struck the man as he removed it from its bracing. The concrete weighed several tons.
The man was sent flying a few feet into the air after he was hit by the concrete slab. The man was employed by BCI Construction of Albany, NY and was conscious but not alert when emergency rescue crews arrived.
